Our desire to create a resounding collection of professionals started in 2017. My late partner and I decided to form our own networking group that would consist of people that manifest high standards who are driven to grow their business network. After a couple of less than satisfactory experiences with “for profit” groups, we believed we could build something special. Borrowing methods from our local Rotary Club, where we were both former Presidents, we started The Long Island Professional Resource Association in 2017. We teamed up with just a handful of business friends and are currently over thirty members strong. Our membership is exclusive by industry or specialty. Our desire to bring together like minded professionals with the same ethics and levels of talent has made LIPRA a dynamic and thriving organization. While we do not have any requirements for referring business, we rely on our members to attend monthly meetings, practice the best levels of communication and response, and adhere to the highest levels of professionalism. We believe that true relationships are formed over time. Some of the most rewarding partnerships come from simply planting a seed and nurturing the formation of something extraordinary.
